STATEMENT

Steven is passionate about photography. He is an award-winning Fine Art Photographer whose work has been published in advertising and featured in editorial format. At present, Steven focuses on Commercial and Portrait Photography applying his skills and artistic sense to produce engaging and evocative images to meet the needs of his clients.

 While "assignment" work is his focus, Fine Art Photography continues to be Steven’s means to satisfying his artistic whims. He can often be found working a scene during the wee morning hours of first light somewhere on the South Shore of Massachusetts (a travel mug of hot coffee and an everything bagel with cream cheese usually within reach).

Steven's philosophy toward photography is simple.  “My goal is to create images that reveal themselves over time.  I want my audience to learn something every time they look at my work.  I believe art should invoke an emotional response, not only the first time someone experiences it, but every time. “  -sdr
